Staples:供應商行為守則


 

At Staples, we strive to work with suppliers who treat their workers with dignity and respect,
adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and make their products in an environmentally
sustainable manner. Accordingly, we require each supplier providing us with Staples brand
products to comply with the following Supplier Code of Conduct (¡our Code¡).* We strongly
recommend that our other suppliers comply with our Code or similar standards:
在Staples,我們力求我們的供應商尊重工人的尊嚴,遵守當地的法律法規,并且以可持
續發展的環境下生產產品。相應地,我們要求每一個供應商向Staples 提供符合下列供
應商行為守則的產品。我們強烈建議我們的其它的供應商遵守我們的準則或者類似的標
準。
1 Forced Labor: Suppliers shall not use forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor,
indentured labor, bonded labor, or otherwise.
1 強制勞動:供應商不可以雇傭強制勞動,無論是雇傭獄中犯人,還是契約勞工,抵
押勞工,等其它方式都不可以雇傭。

2 Child Labor: Suppliers shall not employ people younger than 14, or the minimum age
for completing compulsory education in the country of manufacture, whichever is higher.
2 童工:供應商們不可以雇傭低于14 周歲的人,或者不可低于該生產國中對于完成
義務教育規定的最低年齡。

3 Harassment and Abuse: Suppliers shall treat every employee with respect and dignity,
and shall not subject any employee to physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment
or abuse.
3 騷擾和虐待:供應商應該尊重每個員工的尊嚴,供應商不可以對員工進行任何身體
上的、性的、心理上或者口頭上的騷擾或者傷害。

4 Nondiscrimination: Suppliers shall not subject any person to discrimination in
employment (including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination, or
retirement) on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation,
nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin.
4 不歧視:供應商不可以因雇員的性別、種族、宗族、年齡、殘疾、性取向、國籍,
政治見解,社會或種族出身不同而采取任何歧視對待(包括招聘、工資、福利、晉
升、訓導、終止或退休)。

5 Health and Safety: Suppliers shall comply with applicable environmental laws and
regulations and provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and
injury to health occurring within or arising out of the course of work, or as a result of the
operation of employer facilities.
5 健康與安全:供應商應遵守適用的環境法律法規,并提供一個安全健康的工作環境,
以防止發生意外和在生產過程中使工人受傷,或者由于操作機器導致的受傷。

6 Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: Suppliers shall recognize and
respect the right of employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
6 結社自由和集體談判權:供應商應認識到和尊重員工自由結社和集體談判的權力。

7 Wages and Benefits: Suppliers shall pay employees at least the minimum wage required
by local law, or the prevailing industry wage if no minimum wage law applies, and shall
provide legally mandated benefits.
7 工資和福利:供應商應該向員工提供當地法律要求的最低工資,或者在如果沒有相
關的法律規定下,行業內的普遍的最低工資標準,并應該提供法律規定的福利。

8 Hours of Work: Employees should not be required to work more than 60 hours a week
except in extraordinary business circumstances. Employees should be granted at least one
day off in every seven-day period.
8 工作時間:除非在特殊的商業情況下,員工不應該要求每周工作時間超過60 小時以
上。員工每周應該有至少一天的休息時間。

9 Overtime Compensation: In addition to their compensation for regular hours of work,
suppliers shall compensate employees for overtime hours at the applicable premium rate
in their country. In countries that have not established premium overtime rates, suppliers
shall not pay employees less than their regular hourly rate for overtime hours.
9 加班補償:除了對員工的日常工作時間進行補償外,供應商應該對員工進行的超過
正常工作時間進行的工作做適當的補償。在那些沒有固定加班費用的國家,供應商應該
按加班時間給員工支付不低于平時每小時工資的加班費。
